ok so i want new woofers because my 12s just are not doing it for me every time i get my Rs to where i think they sound good and they are pounding hard they start smoking so i think it is time to move up i either one 18'' or 2 15s the only problem is that i dont want to upgrade my amp because i love it and well i just dont that kind of money so i need some suggestions on what kind of subs would sound the best and blow my type Rs out of the water my amp is a sundown 1200d and i have been running one ohm and my type Rs are 12s so if you could help that would be great thank you.

I would say your clipping the amp. I have seen type r's take that much power fine daily.

What kinda car you drive?

you could do 2 15" alpine type R's if you really like there subs

Set the gains yourself. It's cheaper and then you know it's done right.

I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers.

i have a question though with that graph im sorry im not very smart with this stuff while i do that do i only turn the gain up to get to the certain number or the x over and the subsonic? or the bass eq i dont know what to do with those and what number would i use the 1200 at 1ohm or the 750 at one ohm
