yukon7002 Posted July 18, 2007 Report Share Posted July 18, 2007 Ok im hooking up my buddys system , he has 2-12" Kicker CompVR subs and he has 2 Pioneer 2 Channel 760W max Amplifiers.(1 to each sub) and i was wondering if i wire each sub to 1 ohm how many watts will each sub get? Forevrbumpn Posted July 18, 2007 Report Share Posted July 18, 2007 basically he is saying if the amp gets a constant 14.4 volts with no drops, then it will put out about 380rms, but when the bass hits a system with out adequate power supply, the voltage will drop about 10.5-12volts, in other words in a real world, those amps would be putting out about 10-20% less than rated on a average electrical system Quote I have a ritual called "terminator".
