Current system: 1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s Previous systems: 2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz. 1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz. bkolfo4 Posted July 3, 2010 Author Report Share Posted July 3, 2010 Couple of people got me concerned with my wall flexing, so I had the framer add a 2x8 next to each 2x6 on the front wall of the room. That along with 1.5" of plywood done in an overlapping pattern with a lot of glue should not flex much. Hard to get pics on my phone with not much light. . . Need to remember to take the camera.
