mmm, not really.

To really know the output you have to measure the output.

By your estimate, thats the max power it would CONSUME, if it were to blow.

What amp? what ratings?

I'll expand a bit on what I was saying to spread more understanding.

The fuses are there to protect the amp from drawing too much current in the event of failure. So under normal operation it will never draw as much current as the fuse is rated.

Also, a 13.5v DC voltage reading may be your standing voltage, but what does it drop to when playing? You calculate using this voltage drop. It will drop significantly on weaker electrical systems.

Of course, all of this tells us what kind of power the amp is drawing from your electrical system, not how the amp is performing. No amp is 100% efficient. Most good amps are between 50-80% efficient.

So if at 50%, your amp may draw 2700w, but only put it 1350w.

To know what your amp actually is putting out you need to measure the AC voltage coming out of the speaker wire, then use a clamp on meter to measure the AC current coming out of the speaker wire. Then multiply those 2.

Just from experience, that amp is usually capable of about 2000w at 1ohm

yep just what ED said I was going to say no amp will be 100% efficient. I think the new DD amps are 85% and they do great power
