JZeFF Posted July 27, 2010 Author Report Posted July 27, 2010 i dont own an alpine so i could be wrong here: its not a crossover, its an EQ. you select the frequency you want to boost or cut and by how much. i have a friend thats saying the same thing about bill ATM. maybe he has something going on. if i see him, ill ask. Yeah the alpine i have, 9887 has both a graphic/parametric equalizer. It also has the options to run in a 3 way system, thats when the crossovers come into play. As I stated in my email reply, the shipment was stopped due to another issue with another order I had, Once they come back to me, I can verify the product and ship them back out to you. On a side note, I did drop in your first amps that was "acting funny" and have hammered on it for several weeks. Other then the fact the settings were all wrong, the amp works great. And i just want to clarify the situation... - Bought a used 1000.1 from Finkster, got that it was good... no problems at all. - ordered a new 1000.1 from you to match the one i got from finkster, got that one in the mail and DHL manhandled it and it was bent. - Made a thread on here showing the amp guts, asked if i should be concerned... People told me it looked bad. I sent you pictures, you apologized and said we would trade it in. I never even hooked this amp up. - You offered to give me two new 1000.1's in exchange for the 1000.1 i got from finkster, and the new 1000.1 i bought from you. Obviously i said fuck yeahhhhh I only sent back the "new" one i got from you, the one i never even powered on. And i sent back the used one i bought from Finkster that had no obvious problems. I never sent any amps back to you for "acting funny" Maybe your just getting me confused with someone else... No big deal regardless. Your probably more excited to be done dealing with me than i am to get the amps. lol Once again, thank you for everything! I truly appreciate it. It really scares me so now im buying the best equipment and being extremely careful. So far he has always shipped each amp in it's own box... So it's probably only one amp And the tracking number still doesn't work on the DHL tracking website... I seriously hate this waiting... I have to go back to college in like 2 and a half weeks... I can't afford to wait any more! speedball1978 Posted August 4, 2010 Report Posted August 4, 2010 lol thats why i don't use DHL, they're slow, and very sloppy about their handling of shippments.. i used them once.. damn i wouldn't use them again after that.. fedex or ups are on my list none the less , only use usps for small bullshit mail lol
