C.Sanchez.A
Ok here is my situation. I currently have a Mazda B3000 with two kicker DS6930 6x9 in the back and a pair of JVC 6.5" and 3" tweeters up front. I planing on putting an 8" sub in each door followed by a 10" in the back. What I need help with is witch 8" and 10" would be good. I'm looking for shallow mount. Here are a few that I have found and am interested in. - Kicker CVT10 - Kicker CVT8 - MB Quart RLP254 They are the few in my price range of under 200$. As for amps I know nothing. So If any one could give me there opinion on witch subs and amp I should go with would be nice. One thing to keep in minde is I don't have a lot of cash, but am willing to spend what is necessary to get a good sounding system. THANK YOU! 00hoe88
first dont put 8"s in your doors spend that money and get 2 good 10"s or even 12"s if you have room the kickers imo suck both memphis and RE have good shallow mounts if space for subs is limited Quote head unit - pioneer DEH-P5100UB subwoofer - nothing speakers - powerbass components amp - nothing
TeamHT
im curious...why are you putting an 8" into the door? is it because it looks cool...youve seen it done on some of the cool rides or on meades youtube videos? or are you actually trying to increase the sound stage? im only asking because i think the reason why youre doing this would be a good way to find out whats best for your plan. i honestly love the pioneer shallow mounts Quote Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you? That's why I'm going with the 8" in the doors and the single 10" in the back. Why not just upgrade to a good brand components that could fit in the factory locations. My buddy did that and it sounds damn nice. I already upgraded the stock system, and now I want that little bit extra. I'll admit I want to customize my doors.
