Alex K Posted June 28, 2010 Author Report Posted June 28, 2010 (edited) It makes somewhat sence. However, i don't see why it "wouldn't" work. All I want is to send signal to both amps. Nothing more, nothing less. I've used preamp outputs before, just not like this. I'm not looking to get fancy shmancy here lol, Just want my signal to be split; if that makes sence. Explain how using those preamp outputs on the amp wouldn't work? It's just another way of sending signal correct? If I plugged a male to 2 female y splitter into each preamp, then ran a set of rcas from the females to the inputs of the second amp, wouldn't that work? Also just to make clear, i'm talking about the "line out" rcas on the amp. Edited June 28, 2010 by Alex K Quote 2006 Nissan Z Track. finkster Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 Sorry for the late response Alex. I fell asleep. Here's the best I can explain it. If u did daisy chain them you wouldnt be able to adjust the crossovers on the head unit. Run it like I said a couple posts above. BUT after looking at the specs of your head unit again, i see a problem. You cant run active off that deck, so do you have active crossovers for the tweeters? Autruche Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 (edited) hmm, I'd get four y connectors with one female end and two male ends, then wire them up like... Edit: the second one is how I'm doing mine, because my rear outputs have more bass so they will go to the midbass amp. Also, then when I get the crossover I want I can adjust the front on the crossover for midrange and highs, and the rear can be adjusted for midbass.
