This is the second red stinger volt meter I have had and this has happend with both of them. The stinger part comes on but the numbers dont, with the 1st one it would come on when it wanted to so I bought the new one and did all new wires and solder points but it did the same thing after about 3 days . Thanks unhook it and hook it back up I have a blue one and that worked for me

Take a DMM and see what your voltage is, then set your voltage meter to match, you have to pop the face off and there is a small screw in the top right hand corner.
