polk?

are polk audio components any good. im lookin at the db series of their components. let me kno what u guys think. i dont want to spend my money on somethin that wont sound good the moment i hook them up lol what do u guys think of polk audio in general

I've always ran Polk for my insides and love them. You can't go wrong with Polk.

i have db's 6.5 coxals in my car and the sound great

i had the 4" db series. i didnt like them. there was some strong midbass but absolutely no highs. i even tried to turn my treble up to +8 (out of and THEN it sounded like a normal speaker. (i didnt keep it like that) i soon then switched to a pair of infinity's and i like them so much better

Ive ran polk mids in the past and always had good things to say about them. Good company in general.

Ran some 5 1/4 comps back in like 98-99 and loved them. Sold them after my engine blew, and wanted them back so badly when I got a new whip.

wow thanks guys. ive heard polk were good wit their mids and highs. and im guessin its true. so ill stick wit getting them. u guys recommend me lookin at any other brands? ima be givin them about 150 rms. (to the front)

Infinity is another good brand similar to Polk.
