Had an estimate of 6400 for an alpine/clarion setup dealer said it "should" hit around 160db with the custom boxes he was going to make for me..doubtful with so much area to move but, budget is way below that :( any ideas on cheaper brands for that kind of Spl setup? really didnt want to try any Boss or soundstorm, thinking Quantum figure around $150 per speaker "$1800 total" and $1700 to power it, first actual big setup for the van.

yeah same plans here basically... ive got no setup right now, sold it and getting ready to upgrade, my deadline is april 1st before the season starts, would like to start off doing a 150 around 40hz, and eventually be able to do that at a lower freq but also back it up on music

what organization do you compete in? MECA started for the 2011 season here in California. yeah mines my daily driver so i need to be able to play music on it as well. might build a new box in mid january early feb.

nice build man i like it. i would think a single port box would be more efficient than the box you have. that could bring your score up a lot from were its at. once you find the right box then fully seal off the trunk

2015 silverado crew cab
