The reason its not working is because the cable company stores your Mac address and that address get internet. A new router will have a different stock Mac address so you need to change it to match your computer mac address then you will have internet back. A new router will have a different stock Mac address so you need to change it to match your computer mac address then you will have internet back. x2 call ur internet provider or just use the ethernet cable....had the same problem with comcast and my ps3 i need to reset the modem every time i wanted to play online, so got a router and used a ethernet cable, wireless too but u need to add a bunch off different internet information for it to work Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
