You should have taken the seats out and ran the speaker wire down the middle power down the left and RCAs down the right or middle. The RCAs that you are seeing go from the brain in the back to the sub knob in the front console and then back around to the back to the bass amp.It is for bass, so noise is not an issue.As far as the speaker wire and the doors, there is ZERO noise in the truck.I do agree, your stated way would have been more failsafe in general, but I've never had a problem with noise any 2002-2007 GM running the wires this way, and that consists of easy a couple hundred of them.

I tore my perfect wiring apart 5 times to get rid of all the noise (once was actually from a 22gauge seatbelt detection wire)... My dad's '05 TB I did never had a problem either. I was referring to 02-07 GMs with this layout, like the GMC Sierra, GMC Yukon, Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Silverado's, Cadillac Escalades, etc. Ha the biggest kickers are usually the small things, like your seatbelt wire, as well as wires that sense the presence of a passenger for airbag control and the automatic window control wires.They will literally make you rip the hair from your scalp for some.
