BboyTaktix Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 Hi all, I am finishing up my mid/high speaker build, got the back 6x9's in with some fat-mat underneath each, and now I'm working on the front components. I would like to mount the tweeters on my door panel, right in front of the door handle, which is exactly 1 foot above my mid woofer (so the imaging should be good) the problem I am having is i would like to flush mount my tweeter, but the door panel is quite curvy. The place where I would like to mount the tweeters is slightly curved, almost flat but not quite. From the looks of it, if I drilled my hole and flush mounted them inside, the top and bottom of the circle border would have a bit of gap. The tweeters are from JBL p660c. How would I make it so that the border of the tweeters has no gaps all the way around? If not, is there anything I could do to mold the tweeter housing/borders or something I could maybe fill the gaps with?
