mrp 4ch arent enough flexability, and i dont roll PDX class D for front stage

for the question at hang thouhg, for what type R's cost, id just keep adding type R's til i got the loudness i wanted. plus imo if you made the situation a little more even i feel 2 15" type R could be just as loud at 2 AQ 15s with less power and money involved.

Type R really get loud with the trumpet ports. I hate the look but it works.

lol thats exactly what I did, started with 2 then went to 4 and then I more than doubled my power, now Im happy. who knows what will satisfy me next year. I still say go AQ cuz your talking upgrading to 2 15s off of more power than you would run the 2 12s off of. That right there should answer your question. Aq is some quality stuff I have had 2 of the 1200s ran them seperate and linked, for the price its great stuff. As far as subs I never had experience with aq subs but I am not in any way disappointed with my type rs. I can throw 1200 rms dialy at each one and they dont break a sweat.
