Harm Sikkenga Posted July 6, 2010 Report Posted July 6, 2010 so i am wondering if i should get 1 AQ HDC315 sub and a AQ2200D amp or 2 12" Alpine Type-rs and a Alpine MRD-M1005 amp w/e one I choose they will be about the same price range im rilly thinkiing bout the AQ HDC3 since i'm planning on getting 2 of em when i upgrade anyways

That's just mean IMO. And if you got the airspace and plan on getting two HDC3s in the future, just get the first one now instead of wasting money on the Type arghs. And the Type-Rs aren't the greatest sub ever, but they can do work in a properly made box. 10% equipment, 90% install. Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above. I know you want a lot of bang right away, but it DEFINITELY pays off to wait and get something of quaility. So I'd get the AQ right now and build a helluva box and save for the second one.
