cubs_fan0718 Posted July 6, 2010 Report Posted July 6, 2010 i have no isolator on mine and my back batts are just fine actually when i took them out they were reading higher then before i put them in. Just as it states, it Isolates the front battery from the rear ones. and can actually kill your alternator faster than just not using one. 200a alt. by Excessive Amperage hc800 under hood & 2 Deka 9a31 in rear 1/0awg + big 3 SAZ 3000D HDC3 18" @ 2 ohm

soundzright Posted July 6, 2010 Report Posted July 6, 2010 Just make sure to check what the voltage is on your batteries from time to time. AGM type batteries will rest between 12.8 to 13 volts when fully charged, if you see them resting at less voltage charge them up.
