I bought some chrome pillar posts for my car a year ago, and due to my lack of knowledge at the time, they have some minor pitting going on. Is there anything I can do to remove the pitting or minimize it?

Thanks,

Sam

Is it pitting or rusting? If it is pitting basically your only option is to take it to a shop, fill in the pitts and have it re-dipped. If it is just surface rust you can try some #0000 steel whool and gently try to get it off with soapy water and the steel whool, but then you will have to have the piece polished out.

Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking!

You can't rush quality, it doesn't happen overnight. Quality takes time and dedication, but the end results more than pay for it.
