blcrocker
Today I found out that I have a chance to trade in my '95 pathfinder for a 2000 Accord. Think I should do it? The only draw back is that I'll have to reinstall everything into the Accord. But I need the better gas mileage of the Accord since I'll be going to college in another town and I will be commuting there everyday. Have any of you ever had any major problems with an Accord or just some to mention? dugee81
never owned an accord, but you should check the current condition of it. honda's are quality cars and can last forever if you keep track of everything. normal oil checks, routine maintenance, etc etc. get the tires rotated, tranny flush when needed. i had a friend with a 91 accord wagon that he sold at 250k miles, and that was about a year ago. it still runs today. blcrocker
Well I was called by my mom who works at the Hyundai dealer ship here in town and told me that she had it looked completely over in and out. But when I go to check it out, think I should give it a quick inspection? Look for anything they might have missed. You should always look over any car that you are thinking about buying, cuz after all YOU are the one that is going to be driving and taking care of it. Yea, look over everything in and out before you make any decisions, look under it to see if you see any signs of rust, i have seen numerous cars at dealerships that look like they have sat in water for a while. Also check the engine to make sure there is nothing wrong ect. Check the interior to make sure its in decent shape. Best of luck man
blcrocker
Well for the interior Im hoping that there are no cigarette burns cause it's all gray leather. And under the hood ill be looking to see any if there is anything that doesnt belong under the hood and to see if there are any corroded pipe lines or wires. Yea, also check the exhaust pipe to make sure that its not all rusted out. accords are like jeeps, they have the far share of exhaust and exhaust MANIFOLD leaks. blcrocker
Went out 2 hours ago to check it out. Had a fun test drive Every thing checked out good and apparently the dealer ship didnt clean very well, found some old glasses in the glasses holder on the roof. Still has stock audio so Ima have some fun with that, that is saying if everything goes as planned.
