4 channel optimal tuning?

Hey,

I searched but did not find tuning tips for 4channel amps. I have jbl 90RMS components in front and jbl 6x9 110RMS in rear. Also have two 12's on a second amp. My 4channel amp is 150RMSx4;

I have bass boost off, and the HPF is set to on for both front and back speaker sets. What should I be setting frequency to for each? Also approximate input level position? I have input level at about 2/5 right now for each. Thanks!

I have mine set to about half way on my front and rears to my kappas. I didn't measure with a dmm, but I'm careful when listenint to my music at higher volumes and back down if there's any distortion period. I have my low pass at 100 i think both on the hu and amp. So i mean, be smart about it, don't crank it all the way up, but let your speakers have some power. Or you could play a few songs and mess with the gains until you hear some distortion, then back down a tad. All up to you.

What I usually do is pull the rca's on the rear speakers, then setup my fronts with a 100hz filter tune the gain until there is no distortion on rap rock or other styles. Plug in the rca's on the back set your filter and set the gain a little under the front. Considering you don't have complete shit for speakers in the rear that should work for you

My rears are more powerful then front (110RMS each) but they're 6x9's, with the tweeter and supertweeter. I have fat-matted all around the rear speakers and under the window. They still sound less clear than the front ones but I'm goin to assume that's normal. The fronts do not have fatmat yet as I haven't had time to do the doors. But I will take your suggestions and tune front and rear one at a time starting at 100hz frequency and then for gain, backing down from distortion point. I'm hoping this wi give my speakers optimal range. Thanks guys!
