if i go by what i found on the net, as of 2006 there was 80 million URL and 40 million active websites......by last years numbers we are in the top 7% if im right.

anyone know just how many active sites there is so i can get a more accurate number?

Netcraft estimated that at the end of March 2006 the Internet had a total of 80,655,992 websites, double when compared to 40 million in March 2003, and an increase of 3.1 million new websites since February 2006.

I can't find anything recent on how many websites there are =\ Its almost impossible to tell considering that new websites are created every minute.

I dont know about you, but 10 million sites is about 9,999,998 sites too many. between here and Blazinlow, I doint really go anywhere else. Congrats again by breaking the 300,000 mark.
