I would say the bose QC15's but those are out of your price range, I hate Bose but they're headphones are legit

Exactly my thoughts on their products and their headphones... Unless you have listen to the QC15's please don't tell me they "can't keep up with Sennheisers" b/c that just simply isn't true.

I love my Dr Dre Solos. If they lack on bass compared to the studios I can't imagine listening to the studios. But they are too big for my normal usage comfort. I paid $200 for mine at the store but I'm sure you can get them for cheap online or fleabay. I see a lot of people mentioning Bose but I refuse to buy anything Bose because of their prices for what they offer. It's like buying Jl at Ovation rather than getting some DCs or FIs for a way better price with better quality for a easy reference. I haven't used SennHeiser but I've heard plenty of good so I would say those or the Dre Beats solos for your price range.
