Reconing a XXX! no side grinder?

So i have the old surround coil and spider out, i just need to finish cleaning up the old glue. I dont have aside grinder though like everyone says to use, is there another alternative? something else i could use my recone kit form PAP should be here sometime next week and i just want to make sure everything is cleaned up and ready to go for when it gets here. Thanks everyone.
