white4d96
what exactly does a capacitor do then if its more harmful A capacitor draws current to charge itself slowly, then releases it all very quickly. Theory is it gives your system power when it needs it. Problem is, what happens after it discharges? You have yet another draw on your alternator and batts, and even lower voltage. bassl0va
alright all this talk about how bad it is for my system anyone know what could be wrong with it? Discharged it with no load which killed the voltage meter up the top. The actual cap will still work, just not the little meter. Slawsen
If wires touched..you shorted out the capacitor and you're lucky you had an inline fuse or you woulda fucked your battery too...also lucky you had nothing hooked up to the cap or that shit woulda been fried.
