ok im starting this build and i have one question

ok well i drive a 2006 honda civic 2 door coupe, i have 4 12s that face up (thats the ONLY way they will fit i know its shitty but thats the only way) well i do you think if i put a 19inch tv in the deck lid that the subs will hurt it whenever the lids closed and the tv and the subs are facing each other.

I wouldnt trust it, not sure why you would want a big screen back there anyway. Unless its for when you are tailgating.

But it could be alot of stress that I wouldnt trust.

First, I bet it would sound alot better with a pair of nice 12's ported than 4 12's sealed all cramped in that small trunk.

Second, yes if you have subs facing up then a screen on the inside of the decklid the pressure will most likely damage the screen.

yea i also dunno why you would want a tv back there, even though its not as common ive seen windshields break from subs, and im sure you prolly wont be pushing enough to crack a windshield, it will prolly be able to damage an lcd screen at close proximity

note: wouldnt the magnetization mess the screen up being that close anyways, that could prolly damage it that way if they are subs of some caliber

i know i made my tv go rainbow colors with my subs being a few feet away

ok thanks guys i was just brain storming, and im just using the subs i have im prolly gonna do a wall soon because his local shop said they want to for free so i might if i get 2 more 12s but idk yet
