Jared420
I also Dont see myself getting my money back for this either, I am really kicking myself for not just throwing this amp away and buying a new one when it broke. That was my first thought and i figured nah Ill just send it to this highly reputable place to have it repaired i have heard good things about them and it will be cheaper to just get it fixed. 2012 silverado ext cab ltz 24" kmc rims AudioQue 2200 Pioneer AppRadio Alpine mrx f35 4 channel Bose mids and highs Iraggi Alt + stock alt in a DC power dual alternator kit Yellowtop+stock under hood 0 gauge Knu wire Big 3 4 gauge stinger (4 chan wiring) 3 DC 10'' LVL3 with LVL4 parts
n8ball2013
change your ohm load does it still happen? whats your voltage when it cuts out. im thinking you dont have the juice to run that at .5 if it will even handle it THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger. Jared420
voltage everytime it cut out was above 14. I ran this amp for over 3 months before it broke in the first place and even at full tilt it rarely dropped below 13 lowest it ever went was 12.8 parked and that would only be for a few seconds. The amp is rated stable to .5 ohms by the manufacturer. 2012 silverado ext cab ltz 24" kmc rims AudioQue 2200 Pioneer AppRadio Alpine mrx f35 4 channel Bose mids and highs Iraggi Alt + stock alt in a DC power dual alternator kit Yellowtop+stock under hood 0 gauge Knu wire Big 3 4 gauge stinger (4 chan wiring) 3 DC 10'' LVL3 with LVL4 parts
n8ball2013
then its either not fixed or you could possibly have a funky woofer. Jared420
what constitutes a funky woofer? and how can I findout? 2012 silverado ext cab ltz 24" kmc rims AudioQue 2200 Pioneer AppRadio Alpine mrx f35 4 channel Bose mids and highs Iraggi Alt + stock alt in a DC power dual alternator kit Yellowtop+stock under hood 0 gauge Knu wire Big 3 4 gauge stinger (4 chan wiring) 3 DC 10'' LVL3 with LVL4 parts
n8ball2013
im wondering if you have a woofer with a bad coil or what not. your ohm load could be close enough but once the woofers get moving it sees a dead short nad shuts it down. Jared420
I also found it really weird that it played a 25 hz tone and 40 hz tone violently, Played the 40 hz as loud as i remember it playing it before I shipped out the amp and it did not go into protect for the tone but I play a song and the bass hits not even half as hard and boom cuts out on protect 2012 silverado ext cab ltz 24" kmc rims AudioQue 2200 Pioneer AppRadio Alpine mrx f35 4 channel Bose mids and highs Iraggi Alt + stock alt in a DC power dual alternator kit Yellowtop+stock under hood 0 gauge Knu wire Big 3 4 gauge stinger (4 chan wiring) 3 DC 10'' LVL3 with LVL4 parts
