well how tall are you ? and its also depending on weight

well right now im 6'2" and 145 but once out of basic and having a good diet my weight would be closer to 160-165

the benifits are the same across the board, some branches may give you a sign up bonus but in the end it wont matter what color your coveralls are if you decide to be a mechanic or what uniform you wear. you become a part of something bigger than yourself and you will realize that after you graduate basic training

well considering Its an Option like you said means few will do it. For CCT and Pararescuing its a demand i cant do CCT without doing halo school. and like i said 400 cct nation wide your gona see the action no matter what . my recruiter said ill end up getting deployed after i get trained and certified in my fields but hey i want to do that you cant be afraid. to wana shoot someone and see people die or you wont make it. I have my old man with two tours of 18 months under his belt and looking at another tour of 12 months within the next year . and he was one of the First units to Iraq when we declaired war and let convo mission in and out of baghdad for 14 months straight and isnt even a special forces unit . so Dosnt matter special Forces/ Ops everyone sees the action i just hate seeing how everyone says the Air Force dosnt do shit when for ever marine/ army / navy seals group there is 2-4 Air Force special ops members

It's only an option when units have sudden bursts of alloted funds. Marine Corps can't afford to train everybody and have fancy things like the airforce does. And it's not a requirement (unit dependent) because they specialize in amphibious assault. Yes, I know you'll say you are too, but your (and Rangers') training is more technical, while FR is more tactical and we hammer on it.

I'm not trying to have a pissing contest like you, but I'm saying we each have our specialties. And MY unit was the very first to go into Iraq in November 2001 before anybody was there. I've been there a few times myself ya know.

EVERY Marine is trained as a rifleman. We all must accept that we will see combat and not be afraid, so you don't scare me there. I think you need to take a breather and realize you're butt hurt because people bash your service. I stated initially that we all have our bad asses, not that one was any better than the other.

yeah i agree with you about being a part of something bigger than i am and thats really what im looking for ever since i graduated high school and havent been able to play football anymore i know something is missing and its being part of a team/family and thats what i need
