How much can a DC Level 3 take?

Recommended Posts

Where are u from in Nebraska?

Omaha. why?

EDIT; The ones on ebay are dual 2 ohm, so i'll be running @ 4 ohms, and my amp is rated 600W @ 4 ohms so that is perfect

It would take that power just fine on burps if you're into competing.. as for street beating it no..you would kill it and the bit of extra money it would take to get a lvl 4, or XL would be worth it.

I live in Lincoln and I have 3 sets of dc's.

2 - lvl 3 10's

2 - lvl 3 12's

2 - lvl 4 12's

So I could let you here them if you were local. All have varying power and all the 12's are running well over rated power.

Just thought I would offer.

I dont see a problem with that power on a lv3 if the man behind the wheel has a brain.

The lv3 is a very capable sub and is loud as hell.

The least amount of power i have a customer running to one of these subs is off a DC 1000.1 and an other guy with a Stetsom 1k5h , also have a guy with a pair of lv3 12s on a DC 3000.1, another guy pair of lv3 12s with a Orion 1200d per sub (musical box burps 148.6 at the last show)I personally have ran a Stetsom 4k2d on a pair of lv3 12s. :trippy: So i would never say do not put over rated power to them, but remember if you do and they blow up it is entirely your fault. So use your head it is that simple. :pardon:
