does anyone have pics of how people have built a floor for a wall in a car??? i just made on but its not right.

the last wall i built was easy due to the back of the vehicle being flat. this car has a wicked slope in the back that im trying to make straight. just looking for some ideas.

Look at TylerTrons build log and search the thread that's called Walled Vehicles

Build the bottom as close to the floor as possible. Tyler's build was about 5" of the floor, alot of wasted space. We ended up cutting the floor out to drop it down to gain alot of extra cubes. Just a FYI, build as close to the highest point of the floor.

what do you guys think of doing a fiberglass floor? it will keep me from doing weird angles and will give me every inch of possible space?

i was thinking a 2x4 frame on the bottom then staple fleece to the frame and cover in resin? then off the floor id run 2x4s up then do the roof part. i could still put mdf on the side walls back wall and roof just not on the floor then.

tell me do or dont!

That was going to be our plan for tylers build before he moved back.. When I do another build I will do a half and half floor. Have the floor sit as far down and cut out the high spots and fleece and fiber glass over them.
