phatman442 Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 im gonna buy an FI BTL 18 but im gonna need to buy an amp for no more than $300 atm. i was thinking about going with the boss ol5kd, its 1 ohm stable and 5000w max but i figured that isnt "true watts" but i had the ol3kd hooked up to two 12" pioneer premiers and it did good. its only about 230 bucks on ebay. if i got that amp, with a good box, is it gonna sound good? and i want it to be loud! but its hard on a tight budget lol im open to any suggestions for amps under $300 thanks for any help!

Tek Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 a Boss amplifier will take out the purpose of owning a Fi subwoofer. A BTL can handle more than this if you're smart, but you could always go for maybe a used AQ2200
