TLEJ Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 After a few seconds of playing music, my subs begin to make a constant "hummmmm" sound. It happens while playing music, and if I stop the music, it continues until I power off the amps. Any idea? EDIT: ... I noticed my grounds are about 1 feet apart from each other on the chassis of the vehicle. I'm thinking this is the problem..

TLEJ Posted July 30, 2010 Author Report Posted July 30, 2010 I have a good pair of RCA's going from the HU to the first amp, then a cheap pair going from amp1 to amp2. I'll ground both amps to the same spot, and replace those RCA's and see what happens. BRB

TLEJ Posted July 30, 2010 Author Report Posted July 30, 2010 Probably solved. From troubleshooting, it was the ground loop. But the new RCA's are nice aswell.
