EliteLegacy
This may be an easy question, but I'm not sure. My sub sounds great when I turn on my car initially, and when it's not moving. When I'm driving, though, it seems as if the power fades off a bit. It's definitely not as noticeable. Nothing's wrong with the sub itself, but could I need a new (more powerful) battery? CaptainzPlanetz
A little bit of that is sorta natural, My car is louder when Im just sitting there, rather than when the car is moving. Robert8252
No scientist but I think part of it is just natural reasons such as your driving as the sound is coming at you and therefore the sound "technically" has to travel farther to reach you. :-/ do you have a voltage meter? I'd say get one and see where you voltage is Quote 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff
EliteLegacy
What would the voltage have to do with anything?

Robert8252
Voltage is what makes the power. Your amp will make more power at say 14.3volts then at 13.9volts. EliteLegacy
And how would I go about testing the voltage? If I had a voltage meter?
B Slaps
you would attach positive and negative to the terminals on the amp and see what voltage is at when its at low volume and at high volume.
