Freshman6969
check your grounds, check the connects on the amp, check the connects at the h/u, check the connect at the batt, check the fuseing /thread Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k! Team_DC-Derrick
is your sub single 4? dual 4? dual 2 or dual 1? you prob have your amp bridged at 2 ohms instead of 4 like your amp is saying it does.. and your ohmload is 2 low for it to handle... Loudcivic
how anout telling us if your sube is a single or dual voice coil sub. if its 2 ohms or 4 ohms per coil. how you have it wire up if it is dual voice coils. you cant just say wut sub you have cuz there are so many different ways of wiring it cuz of different voice coils a sub can have. your amp is 320 watts bridge at 4 ohms so im gonna say your not running it at 4 ohms. your probly running it at 2 or possibly 1 ohm depending on the voice colis and that is why it is shutting off. dont take it to a place to get it fixed do some reading on here figure out what coils you have and we can help you with wiring it to the right ohm load to the amp 2015 silverado crew cab nothing atm but soon... Team_DC-Derrick
which way do you have it wired? and if your not sure, go look.... im willing to bet you have it wired down to 1 ohm and bridged it at 1 ohm, which is very very bad for your amp... You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
