XS Power D6500 vs. Alumapro CAP 15...

Recommended Posts

Hooking them both up is next up on my to do list. At this point, I don't have room for both in my trunk. The plan is to rebuild my trunk and squeeze everything into the spare tire well next month or the month after depending on time. I'm hoping it will be pretty awesome with both.

I just blew the tinsel leads through my sub's spider yesterday bumping Psyph Morrisson really hard so I need a new sub also. Any suggestions? I have an SQ setup and was running an Image Dynamics IDMAX12 in a sealed 1.3 cu. ft. enclosure. I really like the way that sealed enclosures sound. I am leaning towards a Fi Q with all the options right now. Does anyone know if the tinsel leads are stitched to the spider on that sub?

Hey man im sorry to sound rude or anything but your interests are in the wrong spot <-----, Why not put all that on a signature under your text..... just saying

SkittlesRgood, I have the fuse block after the cap (and after the battery when it was installed). But can you explain the huge audible difference between the two set ups?

Caps are supposed to be within 12 inches of the amp. Also, measure voltage at the fucking amp, not the stupid ass cap. Cap prolly isn't even discharging therefore holding voltage.(hince it being ineffective when its too far away)

Toady, thanks I just fixed it. I guess I'm missing some plug-ins or something because all I saw on my edit profile page was empty boxes with no description next to them. Anyway, I fixed it and swapped that info to my signature.

Slawsen, I will measure my voltage at the amplifiers and let you know what I get. Gotta get a new cartridge for my blown sub now or a new one first though.

Thanks for your help guys! Sorry, if I've been difficult.
