RyanJ Posted August 4, 2010 Report Posted August 4, 2010 Hey there guys, Well, I've made my decision on my subs + amps, which is going to be 2 15' BL Fi's running on an AQ2200 amp with a backup battery. Anyways, I was wondering.. I'm going to have to drive around like a 1996 Toyota truck for a good 6 months - a year until I can buy my Honda Accord. I was wondering tho, could I put this system in the back seats of my truck, and then, when I get my Honda Accord, take it out, and put it in the Honda? And also, the Truck has no tint at all.. So if I will probably need to tint it to hide my system, but I'm scared that someone will break in because they've heard me coming down or something, and jack my system. That's the only thing that's stopping me. So.. I mean, is there a way I can like prevent that from happening? Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
cmamtower Posted August 4, 2010 Report Posted August 4, 2010 make the box to fit and sound right in the truck. then when you sell it, scrap the box and make a new one. they're quite cheap (maybe 50 bucks in materials?) and not very time consuming (unless you sand and fill it for hours upon hours) apparently you dont get the fact that the subaru was wrapped around a pole. and by the status of your comment, im guessing your mouth is too. GRITS Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 If you cant take the suggestions given or are that worried about it getting stolen then just dont do it. Personally I cant see anyone going through the trouble of stealing a box out a truck just for the subs. maybe HU and amps...... FYI I drove around for a good month without my box hooked up and my tint aint all that.
