Got any more pics of how you ran the power wire, im running wire this weekend in the same car 09 Malibu any pics would greatly help and been wondering the dimensions of your box so i can see how big of a enclosure i can fit in there, it will be 2 12" Xcons on a Soundstream Rubicon 2500d. Thanks.

the wire went through the driver side,

towards the driver's door hinge

and inside where the hinge is at there's a black pre made facotry hole already made for you covered on a really thin plastic

you can push that with you finger and if you have fat hands u can push it with a flat head

once your done doing that

you are going to be able to run 0 gauge through that hole,

allows you to run only 3-0gauge runs.

you can remove the door for easier access but i wouldnt recommend it

never ends up mounting the same.

any ways once you got that hole out of the way

you start taking the plastic trim by your door

and the one that is by your hood's pulley

once both are removed it would be much easier to have access to get the 0 gauge wire through the other side when you put in the wire through the hole

and there easy cake

once you got all the runs you need 2 or 3

you can use that purple/gray/pink insulation that is inside where that door's hinge is at to cover the wires

and once that is done it would look like if nothing ever went through there

and if you want to run more you can do the same thing on the passenger side but you would loose 5ft+ running it across the hood to get ALL the wire over to the other side

you can do what n8 did

cut through the firewall

its harder but it can be done

goodluck and if you still dont get me

i can take pics after work which it should be around 4.30pm

and my box dimensions are

13.5ht____32w____30d

Silencer could you get me some pics of the wiring into the door hinge area im looking at that area on my car and am confused still thanks.

your putting in two AQ;s in the malibu?

That's why they don't deliver.

Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait.

You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start :D

I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
