Best low pass setting for my system.

That head unit is from the mid-late 90's. I'm not even sure if that has one. Lol

check it out....this is what i dug up for ya...on the bottom right hand corner of the headunit should be an audio button...you should be able to get to the lowpass filter from there...the lowest it goes on that headunit is 100hz...also that head unit is designed with one set of rca's out right? if so, it's sending a full range stereo signal to your amp that's why your hearing voices and yes i agree that it seems like the filter is bad on your amp which isnt filtering out the voices...you might be able to turn the rca's out to subwoofer out with that headunit...look under function top right button, the option might be there...use the up down right and left arrows to try to adjust these things....also try the eq button it might be under that....best of luck..

I have just about everything I need already here. I may end up running this old 4 channel in 3 channel mode and doing a small system in my room.

Found the filter it was at 100 its now 40.

What it says is F- 40-160 and then there is Q-2W

What is this?

Wow gives me the option for 1k and 10k EQ too!

It has to be the LPF on the amp. Take it back and let them see what they can do with it. Just means no bump for a few days

sorry it took so long to get back at ya...where it says fie off...try turning it on......it should give you the choice for the lowpass filter there...also what you asked about the f and the q....the f and the numbers after it means f=frequency and the 40-160 is 40 hz-160hz....now the q is the width of the parametric eq...w means width....usually it will be w1/12/narrow1/narrow2/etc. pretty much it stretches out the frequency range or pushes it together....3-band eq will give you three ranges to play narrowing or stretching the range from low to mid to high...i would def. take that amp back though...

Thanks for the detailed reply! And also i commented on that guys video above and he said he hears vocals through his sub too.

His LPF is 50.
