CheezyMane13
I actually asked about one of these a few weeks ago. They are called the smart harness/adapter/ plug, they were a Circuit City exclusive item, at least that's what i have been told. And since all the circuit city's have gone out of business these are no longer being sold, at least not by them. I was told that no new company has bought the patent for it to make them either Quote take baby steps, u cant do it all at once unless u have a roll of 100's big enough to choke a donkey 1998 Chevy Venture "Swagger Wagon" Kenwood Excelon KDC-X994 Headunit 3 15" Alpine Type R's in seperate T-Lines 1 RF T1500-1bd for 2 of the 15s 1 RF P1000-1bd for the single 15 3 sets of Hifonics Zeus ZXi6.5C Components( 1 more set to come for Front stage) 1 Hifonics HFi100.4 4-channel amp Stock alt for now (DC HO SPL 400A when funds come in,currently working on buying this) Stock battery and one Optima Redtop for now (looking at XS batteries) 3 15" Alpine Type R's (aka Swagger Wagon Build 1.0) Swagger Wagon Build 2.0 Youtube Videos
Benji0687
Yeah like the guy above me said...we used those at Ciruit City. They made doing decks super easy! Hopefully BB will pick up the rights to the Smart Harnesses...I personally dont use any of the factory wiring in my cars, but for customer jobs, they work perfect! Rainman215
I would think that it wouldnt really be a cost effective product for a company. Having a vehicle specific wiring harness plus the radio specific wiring harness? What if somebody wanted to switch to a different heaudnit then they would need a totally different harness instead. A radio wiring harness is easy as shit to do. Match the colors for the most part and then connect them with whichever way you choose Quote My 02 Accord Wall Build 2 Sundown Audio Nightshade V1 18s --- 1 SAZ 3500 Sundown Audio 100.4 --- 4 Sundown Audio Neo-Pro 8s Sundown Audio 125.2 --- 2 Morel MD-12 Tweeters , 2 Selenium ST-200 Tweeters DC Power 270xp --- 4 XS Power D1200s | 1 D5100R

A radio wiring harness is easy as shit to do. Match the colors for the most part and then connect them with whichever way you choose The advantage of this was a less then 5 minutes install, ad it also meant that there was no wires that were crimped, soldered or taped together, this eliminating any bad contacts.
