zayres29 Posted November 10, 2010 Author Report Posted November 10, 2010 i have checked every voltage that i can think of in ever spot that i can think of and everything checks out and is working and the subs arent moving at all there is output from the amp and going to the speakers i find it extremely hard to believe that i was shipped 2 faulty speakers if you guys have any idea what i have done wrong PLEASE let me know i want to listen to my car Btw that was the first person. BanginOnABudget Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 buy ropes rent mule 1/4 horse-power /thread im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire. Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block.... 1990 Jeep Cherokee 2 Dr. Big-3 in 0g on Stock Alt. Black 2008.5 Mazda 3s Touring 5 Speed Hatchback Tinted tails/turn indicators, blacked out emblems, partially debadged, 20% tint all around, Big 3 in Knu KLMX 1/0, LED footwells/interior lights DECK: Kenwood DDX-512 double DIN touchscreen with backup camera FRONT STAGE: Stock for now, yippy (Looking for something nice...) FRONT STAGE AMP: Looking for something nice... SUB: 15 inch DC level 4 with level 5 coil upgrade, red dustcap SUB AMP: Audiopipe AP15001D at 1 ohm WIRING: All Knukoncepts Kolossus/KCA wire LEGAL TERMLAB SCORE: 135.8db at 42hz(pathetic, I know. fr34kout Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Did you say they're wired in parallel to 4 ohms? Did you mean series? Cuz I don't think they make D8 coils lol. Like Micah said check with a DMM to see if the coils are bad, may have been wired incorrectly. Or have you tried wiring it exactly like you have it but to the opposite coil of each sub?
