i got my hight to low lvl converter in the mail today but as the new title of this thread states the trans in my car is now completely shot i only have first gear other than that it wont stay in gear or move at all so now i have a bad ass system and i cant drive my car i dont know what im going to do about getting it fixed i might have to sell my body

Rofl, same situation here. My saab is being a garage queen for the winter, it's getting a fully rebuilt motor in the springtime hopefully. Good luck, I'd love to see this swapped to a 5 speed, my Saab was swapped from auto to manual and it has some shifter linkage problems, so be careful with that. Liking the build so far, it's different, and that port is crazy.

the car is now at a junkyard a new trans is 850 plus labor and i dont have the money for that if anyone wants to give me a loan so i can get another car to put these 8s into that would be great im sad to see the car go but it just wasnt worth it so much time and effort... and money wasted just to see it ride proudly off into the distance on a flatbed

Btw that was the first person. Ever banned by me while dropping a deuce. Feel privileged

Weaksauce. You give up too easily, it was just a transmission. :peepwall:
