megalo congrats on your dual boot.

for the others, the reason why windows vista behaves so differently and weird compared to XP is because a lot of the components were built from the ground up...and not just improved upon

thanks. i tried virtual pc, but it was dam slow especially on vista, so i said why not dual boot :)

yeah, i dont know where microsoft is going with this

I have to honestly say, w/o saying too much, that i have a special copy of vista. It's Ultimate, stripped down. no widgets, side bars, UAC, none of that BS that every one complains about. it runs Perfect, and smooth. I aboslutly love it. I am using it on 2 comps, and a good friend of mine is using it as well. I did format to ultimate full, and hated it. I wnet back to my special copy like 2 days later. It was bogged down with junk basically like when you buy a new computer, and get all the preinstalled junk w/ them.
