miraclemauro Posted August 11, 2010 Author Report Posted August 11, 2010 yea i was looking for an older tahoe but couldn't find anything with lower mileage and then my teacher told me he was selling it and i knew i had to pick it up for some beat and yes this is my first big build i've started building boxes for friends as well but nothing too crazy because they dont wanna spend the cash. These are the other enclosures i've built. 2 12" Rockford P3s 4 cu ft. @ 32hz 4 10" RE Srx 4 cu ft. @36hz

A DEH-P4200UB head-unit TS-A6993R 6x9's TS-A1782R 6 3/4's GM-D9500F amp powering the speakers 4 SA-8 8" Sundown Audio subs 2 Pioneer GM-D8500M amps for the subs 2 car audio batteries and a 2 farad cap. powering it. Also sound dampining by Dynamat.

(just bustin your balls) i have a question about your amp rack... all those fans are either pushing or pulling correct? where is the air supposed to go? there is no opening for air to move out of the rack. except where the wires come in but there is less open area there than one fan. from what i see you just have a way to pressurize the chambers and not move much air. you need a hole with as much area as the fans or else the fans wont be doing much. its like having a ported box with the port opening pressed all the way against the hatch.
