love him or hate him, he is still the "Hank" of our day.....i got no problem with him myself. Whats your thoughts? and why is Hank being such an asshole? "i wont even be there or watch it on tv"....im no MLB expert but why is this guy all butt-hurt?

anyway i just hope i see the action live on TV, to me its exciting and makes me more interested in a sport i havent watched since the last big strike ruined it all for me.

i was glued to my TV last nite every time he was up.....sorta like when Mark McGuire was doing the same thing. I felt like i was watching history by not missing that!

only accused of the 'roids.....not saying he did or didnt but at this point its been a couple years since that came out and im pretty sure they are on him like flys on shit. Since the "man" is watching every move he makes i dont see why he wouldnt be ultra clean now and at least since his "doctor" was busted .

i like barry bonds even though i am not really that up to speed on the mlb. the only time i really watched it was when the red sox were in the world series lol

While I really hate baseball, I do listen to enough of this crap about him on the radio (sports talk).

IMO, from what I can gather, his home run numbers have really declined since the steroid accusation surfaced. He has been really slow to return from injuries where as before he was always out there.

Why? Because since the rumours started and the man has been hawking him, he has stayed of them and now he can not perform up to the level he was at.

I would waych him only if he was up to bad and his head exploded Scanners like. That would make for good baseball on TV.

Barry Bonds is an athlete... probably 1 of the best of our times! when i was a kid this kinda shit (steroid abuse) never even made it to the publics ears. theres nothing better than watching an athlete try to break a home run record with my 5 year old son. alls i know is Terry Bradshaw and Regie Jackson ate all thier veggies to play like they did... there for, i ate my veggies all up also. so now i just tell my kid the same thing... Payton Manning and Barry Bonds eat all thier vegetables to play like they do, and you should also.

I'm a Ken Griffey Jr fan. I've watched his whole career,and if it was'nt for being on the dl since 01,Griffey Jr would be going for the record aswell.But now if Alex Rodriguez stays healthy,he'll be the youngest player to reach it.Bottom line,I think both of these guys will pass bonds if they stay in it as long as Bonds has.

last time i watched baseball was when McGuire and i believe Sammy Sosa were head to head on the homerun record thing..regardless of whether he was is on roids, he'll be remembered for breaking the record so its doesnt matter, but would u rather miss history in the making or tell your grandkids that u saw him do it.

I dont mind Barry Bonds. For the money they get paid I dont care if they grow tails, and fly. If you take the steroids out of baseball you will see a huge decline in every aspect of the game, fewer home runs, slower pitching,and slower outfielders. In my opinion it is your own body...do what you gotta do, but then again dont try to compare yourself to a natural person. That is why Hank Aaron is so pissed IMO.
