Got the windows tinted and decided that Alpine E's just were NOT enough. Bought a new Alpine MRP-F600 for the mids and highs, 100 RMS x 4 @4Ohms and 150 RMS x 4 @2Ohms. I just finished my new box for 2 Alpine R 12's in a custom designed box my a friend of mine. The box is drying now and I will have it in tomorrow morning. Im not sure if I'm going to run 2 Alpine MRP-M500's or 1 RF 1500-1BDCP @ 4Ohms, 1200 RMS... Pics of the new work since winter is ALMOST here and im not playing with my blazer anymore for this season. Box with 24" of port PER driver. Divided box in case I do run 2 amps. New amp Tint 5% on back 5, 35% on front 4 and 12" 5% strip on windshield lower tuning is just hard. I decided that I will be using a 1500-1BDCP on them. 1200 RMS @ 4 ohms and maybe even 1900 RMS @ 1 ohms I just caulked the box and as soon as it dries I will be hooking everything up lower tuning is just hard. 97SSBlazer Posted September 8, 2010 Author Report Posted September 8, 2010 Finished I ran them at 1 ohms for a minute, I don't have the electrical in this vehicle to sustain proper voltage, but @ 4 ohms they sound great. I O-Scoped both my vehicles today and now they both sound great. The R's REALLY sound great for being in a full size car. Keep in mind im used to my Blazer with 2 T2 15's running 2500 RMS lower tuning is just hard.
