2nasty
Hey guys. I just got a set of rockfords t2652-s components, and I was dying to hear what they sound like. So I have a radio (one of those boom box 3 piece ones) and ran a pos and Neg wire to it. It's a 120volt and 150 watts. It sounded sweet and I didn't turn it up at all. Only had it connected for about 10 sec. I'm worried messed the speaker up b/c I've been told since it was hooked up to a 120volt. It wasn't straight out of the wall or anything. What do y'all think. The speakers still good right?
newls1
some of the internal plutonium may have leaked out due to the inconsistent sine waves that are produced from the unbalanced atmosphere, but you might be ok I love my staffie So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny
Guest
if your speakers got 120v im sure they wouldnt even last 10 seconds, not even 3 seconds at that. MANY if not all home stereo boomboxes convert that 120vac into 12vdc anyways (same voltage that your car outputs) haha, sort of irrelevant information. edit: if they play they are still fine. ive done the same thing pretty much to test all my speakers before i installed them in my car and it was all good. who told you they would get ruined? stop listening to them. I have seen YouTube videos where they hook the to the wall and boom!
