RE-Doing my civic

okay so im starting to miss my back seat, and seeing out my back window. soooo, i think im going to just build a box in my trunk. my trunk opening is kinda small so get a box of a decent size in there is not possible. so my only possibility is to build it in there. i never did this before but from looking at threads on this fourm and loooking at alot of your builds i think i got an idea. but what im looking at is about 4.8 or 4.9 cubes. thats after all the dispacement of the subwoofer and braceing and wood thickness. now im planning on buying another 15" L7 and another PG amp. but im going to build this sealed at first. i just wana see how its going to sound. and if i dont really like it im going to port it through the hole for my stock 8" sub thats no longer there. my only problem is that i could only find like 6" pvc pipe at the biggest. so either i gotta look harder for an 8" or just use a 6. i havent determinded any of the port size or anything yet beacuse thats were im kinda stuck. if i end up porting it i wana shoot for 32HZ. could anybody let me know how long the pipe would have to be at 6" and at 8"? also do you think thats going to be big enough for 2 15" L7's? and i was planning on fiberglassing the cornors for strength. would this take care of sealing them too? or do i still need to put some kind of sealant in the cornors. i also am useing 2 sheets of 3/4 inch MDF and 3 sheets on the baffel. does all this sound right or does it sound like a fail in the makeing? lol

But in all honesty OP, I am not sure how well Kicker does in smaller enclosures, but in most cases you can compensate for a small box with more power. From everything I have heard, Kickers LOVE large boxes. If you have an suv... great... In this case you do not. I would sell the kicker, sell the amp, and invest in either a GOOD 15" or a couple GOOD 12"s or 10"s with a GOOD amp. I would recommend looking into Audioque for some great products at awesome prices, then look into an amp that can put out between 3 to 4k. Invest what you have left into electrical...

i think your the only person on this site with the same car as me but i dont think 2 15s L7s will be good for the trunk setup, nor will sound good L7s really dont sound that great imo with a sealed box i have 2 L7 12s sealed and i had them in my car (trunk) for about 2 days and i ripped it out because it didnt sound good. for L7s to sound good they need a big ass box and need to be ported. check out 8thcivic.com on good set ups for our cars.

also its kinda hard to read all your post and answer it because there are wayyyy to many questions(not being a dick)
