EclipseChris
Batteries are like any other audio component, you get what you pay for. To answer your question, Odyssey batteries ARE the same as Stinger. They are good quality batteries on par with XS power, but are actually generally more expensive than XS power pound for pound. The small batteries you linked to are way to small for what you are trying to do. From my own testing, Kinetik and Shuriken batteries are of significantly inferior design and performance. Deka AGM batteries are decent for the money, but can be sometimes hard to find. That being said, we have D3100 batteries for $349 shipped anywhere in the 48 states. You could buy one of those for your trunk and leave your stock battery under the hood, and be in GREAT shape for your system, and even have some reserve left over for the future. XS batteries also have an outstanding warranty program, so you don't have to worry about it crapping out on you. Steve Meade runs XS power for a reason... Link to your for sale please? i resolve to be a nicer moderator. Tercel build R.I.P. Eclipse build Old New V-Dub My feedback.
Bigballa39213
IMO? XS. Steve tends to agree Edit: Xs batteries tell you wut rms range they're rated for too So lets say im running 2 Soundstream DTR1.3400D. They are 3400 watts RMS @ 14.4 volts @ 0.50 Ohms. What battery and how many? 98 Chevy Blazer 4 Door Stock Everything The New Setup 1 - Pioneer AVH-P5200DVD 1- Pioneer DEH-80PRS 2 - Blues Audio 5.25 Mids ( On the dash ) 2 - Blues Audio BL8.0C Components ( In the front doors ) 2 - Blues Audio BL8.0 Woofers ( In the rear doors ) 1 - Linear Power 952 ( Dash ) 1 - Linear Power 2202IQ Modified ( Components ) 1 - Linear Power 3002 ( Rear Doors ) 1 - SoundStream XBP-10 Processor 1 - SoundStream BX-20Z 2 - SoundStream DTR1.3400D 4 - RE Audio SX12D4
Slawsen
So lets say im running 2 Soundstream DTR1.3400D. They are 3400 watts RMS @ 14.4 volts @ 0.50 Ohms. What battery and how many? Depends on alternator. And if thats like 7kwrms youd need like at least a 300 amp alt and I would do like 4 d3100s and whatever u can fit up front. I'm not too good with this kinda stuff, but that's what I'd personally do. May need more cuz of the impedance you're running. Edit: Best bet is to start with one battery in the back, do some testing, like how long you can play full tilt for till you get voltage drop in the 12s..then add on a battery and keep testing..etc 00' Nissan Xterra Always under construction :] HU: Pioneer DEH3100-UB Mids & Highs: Kicker DS Component Set & Crescendo tweeters Mids & Highs Amp: Rockford 150.2 Subwoofer: 2 DC Audio LV 4 18"s Subwoofer Amp: Hifonics Brutus 2005d you been hanging out with jeff and dustin with that green paint? its yellow so it has to be loud.
