so you have a box thats 2.5 after with 16sqin per?

tuned to ............40hz?

try this.

3cuft after

with 20sqin per

tune to 37hz

no 45's.... just a basic box

and spray glue 1lb of polyfill on the back wall

betcha im louder all over

That box would be gigantic. lol. My max dimms. are 14h x 30w x 20d. I'm tired of waiting on him. I'll prob do 3 cubes, 16 per cube tuned to 37. Might try 20 it just depends. I'll run the numbers later

I tried a PWK Box one time...

First impressions after getting the design was "this aint nothing but a simple bass reflex box I could of done myself" with a few 45s lol

I guess I was hoping for something that was designed on the crazy side and something harder to build then the standard boxes I end up doing for most customers that only take a hour using a sawstop tablesaw and nail gun. Lol

The main reason I went with PWK is so I wouldnt have problems with my composite coned 9518s on 3000+wrms each. However I still had problems loading problems until I switched to paper cones.

Rays box he listed for you:

3cuft after

with 20sqin per

tune to 37hz

no 45's.... just a basic box

and spray glue 1lb of polyfill on the back wall

betcha im louder all over

Is a pretty straight forward simple design that should work well. This guy has had some killer builds come out of his shop, and defiantly knows what he is doing. I wish I worked for a shop like his. Only thing Id think Id change from his design is to step it up to 25square inches of port vs the 20, DD likes port!

Being with your dimensions so small Id almost think you would be better off with a 9510, but if you go with rays design, you could easily toss a crap load of power at your 12, and it should progressively get louder and louder with more and more power.

Forgot to say... the box ray listed is not gigantic.

It would fit your space perfectly, the dimensions you gave will easily fit a 3.8cf box and the box will still be above 3cubic feet after port, and sub displacement. :)

haha yeah i was just trying to picture this gigantic port thats who knows how long in the same space i have now. It'll probably be fine... i can actually go up to 30 inches deep, that would just make it fun to wire everything up lol. I'll check it out tonight tho and see.

25sq...

thats big for the 12.

if u tuned down to 31-32 it would be cool for super lows.

but to be flat 25 is to big..IMO

and by flat I mean +/-2db from 30 to 55hz
