jeyrapboy Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 You may see some extra heat... But thats about it... I have one right on the header... I dont see problems at all... But i do plan on getting it fixed ASAP. Quote
BeatBox Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 I dont know if theres a Main Muffler around your area but here they are all over the place they do good work for pretty cheap. might need to get a new header tho just to be safe, look on the bright side. Good time for upgrade Quote

OrionStang Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Your only going to damage your motor if runs too lean, causing burnt or bent exhaust valves. I have been running straight pipes for 2 months now no issues, but I run a safe kinda rich tune. There will be no mechanical issues, just extra noise and fumes, and maybe some low-end torque. alphasig293 Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 I've been doing exhaust work for 9 years and I don't like patching but if thats what you gotta do. Most parts places sell exhaust wrap that you can wrap over the hole and it should hold you for awhile, they also make an exhaust puddy that if the hole isn't too big you can fill it with that, but like I said i've never like doing that.
