What kind of electrical is needed to run AQ2200?

So right now, I have a PDX1000 and a MRP250, pushing around 1300 watts RMS. My electrical is rock solid for that setup, I get barely any dimming if any at full tilt.

My electrical consists of:

-Big 3 in 1/0

-Optima Yellow Top

-stock 90A alternator

If I added a HC800 or another aftermarket battery, and made 2 runs of 1/0 for it (one neg one pos) to the front battery, would I get any dimming? Also considering I'm using a 400wrms speaker amp, so lets say 2600 watts RMS total.

I plan to run the AQ at 1 ohm, and speaker amp at 4 ohms.

upgrade the alt...then probably a second battery

too much battery and not enough alt can kill the lifespan of ur alt...

Damn, fuck that then it's going to be about $500 to upgrade it.

What if I ran a Kicker 1500? Would I still need a new alt? Running just under 2k? with 2 batterys and big 3

imo, with 1500 watts u should be able to get away with a small extra battery

over 2k i would upgrade the alt...and yes it will probably be about $400

I thought so, especially since it's being ran at 2 ohms instead of 1.

what sub should i get for it? in a trunk car so it cant be bigger than a 15"
