Autruche Posted August 19, 2010 Report Share Posted August 19, 2010 I'm getting new speakers and need more power to run them, but need to get an amp to hold me over until I can afford a good one, my current one just won't do. I am getting 4 pairs of component systems and want to give each at least 100 rms. I need either 2 amps that can do 100-150rms @ 4ohms, or one amp that can do 200-300rms @ 2ohms. I have a $260 budget, and don't know what to get, I know my stuff for bass, but mids and highs are confusing to me. I was considering a few amps. The downside is that it would require 4 amps, more wiring and a line driver, but I'd be able to give each set 150rms and it would look pretty badass... I know they make good speakers, but do their amps do rated?
